Frequently AskesCommon questions
A few of the questions we hear most often. If yours isn't here, write to us.
-
Catholic Sisters were among the first to use their investments to promote economic justice — recognizing that how we steward our resources is itself a form of ministry. Impact investing extends that legacy into our own time, allowing capital to participate in the flourishing of communities and creation rather than working against it.
-
Charism Capital is open to qualified, mission-aligned investors — including religious congregations, faith-based foundations, family offices, and individual accredited investors. We are anchored by a community of Catholic Sisters but welcome all who share our convictions about the moral significance of capital.

Charism Capital was designed by and for our community. It is impact-first — meaning impact is the mandate and return is the constraint, not the reverse. It is rooted explicitly in Catholic Social Teaching, with a structured Mission Impact framework. And it offers infrastructure — administrative capacity, expert diligence, spiritual formation — that allows even smaller congregations to participate in sophisticated impact investing.

The simplest first step is to send us a note using the form above. We'll set up a conversation to learn about your goals, share more about the fund's structure and approach, and discuss whether a subscription in January or July might be a fit.
